Description: The wreck of the ozone is located between Portarlington and St Leonards (right near Half Moon Bay), just out from the corner of Helen St and the Esplanarde. The wreck of the Ozone can be seen from the shore just right of the beacon. The Ozone is an old steamer and the paddle wheels can be see sticking out of the water about 25 metres out. Expect to see lots of sting rays and puffer fish. At the wreck you can swim through the paddle wheels, explore the smoke stacks (I presume this is what they are), and see the decking from the Ozone and the dominion over closer to the beacon. When I visited I also saw a school of small squid. This is a nice easy dive and a good chance to see wreckage without a deep dive.
