Description: On the southern outskirts of sydney, the Tuggerah sank in 1919 with the loss of 11 lives. A collier, the wreck today lies on its port side on a sand bottom. The stern of the wreck is in very good condition and the prop, rudder, engine and boilers are intact. The wreck is always covered in fish, sometimes so much so that you cannot actually see the wreckage. Wobbegong sharks guard the wreck and you can even see sunfish, seals and human remains while on the wreck. A mindblowing deep dive that is amongst the best in Australia.
