Description: In the ships graveyard, just outside outside Port Phillip Bay. The Coogee is one of a large number of vessels scuttled in the ships graveyard in the 1920's and 1930's when they were no longer able to be operated profitably. The Coogee sits in 34m depth, and rises only 3-4 metres from the bottom. The bow and stern are both in reasonable condition, but the middle of the ship has broken up completely. Two large boilers can still be seen in the mid section. The ship has formed a good artificial reef like most of the vessels in the area, and large numbers of fish can be seen.
